IT-Outsourcing / License Law

Many companies consider the outsourcing of individual work processes to third parties aiming at a workflow optimization and consolidation of their core compentencies. Especially infrastructure and/or administration processes can be outsourced to specialised service providers.

We provide consultancy in the field of national and internatinal outsourcing of IT infrastructures or IT platforms. The computing services encompass services such as the mere provision of colocation spaces to the hosting and operation of applications up to the implementation of ‘software-as-a-service’ and the provision of other cloud computing solutions.

Another domain of our lawyers is the drafting of license agreements.  The owners of protected industrial property rights as patents, brands, registered designs or copyrights may transfer rights on such protected property to third parties – i.e. to grant a license on such protected rights. For good reason, the terms and conditions for such a transfer of rights shall be governed by a License Agreement. Whether you are licensor or licensee – we advise you and represent your interests during the negotiations and provide the wording of such lincese agreement as to safeguard your rights.
